FROM A GALAXY OF WORK, HERE ARE A FEW STARS
Mudrex Quiz

Working at a Product company is often about the nitty-gritty, those tiny puzzle pieces. The real challenge? Figuring out how to solve these small mysteries without causing chaos in the big picture, all while hitting conversion goals we crave.

So, this case study is a journey through my design thinking approach to a problem, sticking to my values, and of course, bagging those expected outcomes :)

Emotion by Design

While my main focus has been on Mudrex's Investment Products, the Gift a Crypto project pushed me out of my comfort zone. It made me think in terms of the emotions we need to stir in users, rather than just focusing on the usual tactics to boost numbers. This venture also gave me the opportunity to dive into physical card and packaging design, which was well-received by our Mudrex community

After patiently waiting, we finally felt the time was right for a visual upgrade. After engaging with numerous users and convincing stakeholders, we collectively decided to infuse more personality into the Mudrex app. Although our initial plan was a 2-week sprint, it gracefully extended to 1.5 months. Remarkably, within just 6 weeks, we managed to design over 500+ screens and 1500+ components. Throughout this period, I spearheaded the redesign of the entire investment products and associated pages

Buy the Dip

The goal is to provide users with an automated method for acquiring coins during market price downturns, thereby optimizing potential returns, increasing Assets Under Management (AUM), and improving user engagement on the platform. This particular feature was chosen based on extensive user research, revealing a strong desire among users to leverage the crypto market for maximum returns. Many users expressed difficulty in monitoring and responding to price dips effectively. From a design perspective, although the "Buy the Dip" concept is common in the market, the challenge lay in working within the constraints of Mudrex's infrastructure. Simultaneously, the focus was on differentiating the feature from competitors by delving into users' intentions at each stage, making this piece both valuable and enlightening

Joining Cashflo was an exciting opportunity, especially with the challenge of developing and launching an AP Automation product, Rubix, in just a month. Despite the tight timeline and my consumer domain background, transitioning to enterprise design was thrilling. The project was complex, involving detailed system design and tightly integrated components. Navigating these challenges brought a great sense of accomplishment. Rubix automates invoice booking for enterprises, reducing the manual workload typically associated with ERPs or Excel.

Small Scale Exercise for Product Experience

As startups move from zero to one, they face the challenge of improving a fully functional product. At Mudrex, we tackled this by stepping back and examining the overall system to better understand user needs. This case study reflects my journey through this process, focusing on generating ideas for future enhancements. It also marks my final project at Mudrex, a key milestone in my time with the company.

Perfecting Onboarding Experience

This project holds a special place in my heart as it demanded thinking outside the box at every turn. It required a deep dive into their well-established, decades-old systems that were ready for modernization without altering the foundational structure. This project not only secured us a long-term client and their entire suite of products but also built trust in my leadership for similar projects. It required a substantial amount of research, aligning perfectly with the strategy that informed the designs we later crafted

Halo Video Explainer

This project is a perfect showcase of how design thinking can solve any challenge. It demanded a deep dive into understanding our users, the system, and the strategy to create a video that sparks curiosity. We explored multiple approaches to reach our audience and ensured the video harmonized with the well-established Deutsche Telekom brand identity. This involved storyboarding, studying videos from industry leaders, and conducting user research to discover what truly captivates our audience and lot more.
