For this exercise, we began by determining the visual identity we wanted for the app. We delved into various aspects such as color palettes, typography, illustration styles, and micro-interactions, covering all facets of design. While I was responsible for entire suite of investment products, it was few screens I designed early on that played a pivotal role in shaping the overall direction we ultimately embraced. This effort also led to the creation of a design system for Mudrex, laying the groundwork for the unified design we now see across multiple platforms.

How did we go about it?
If you ask me the starting point for any of this, it would be our users. We talked to thousands of them to get a feel of how they see Mudrex as a brand. And let me tell you, keeping the user at the heart of everything I do, was the key.
Amidst all of this, one thing we knew for sure is that our revamped experience had to honour Mudrex’s legacy of being your trusted knowledgeable partner in the crypto space.

To be honest, while we didn't notice any immediate impact, it's four months later that we began receiving positive feedback and observing the significant positive effects it has generated and the impact continues to show

Learnings and Takeaways
Make a case when you believe you're right
Initially, we approached this UI revamp as a two-week project, overlooking various factors. However, the timeline extended due to unforeseen tasks—3647383 other things, to be precise—that our team hadn't considered initially. This experience taught me the importance of reassessing and advocating for the right course of action, even if it means taking more time
Nurturing Patience
Having poured our hearts and efforts into it, it was disheartening not to witness immediate results. Nevertheless, exercising patience paid off, and when positive impacts began to surface, it validated all the hard work.
Significant improvement in UI skills
I used to feel uneasy about visual design, but this project compelled me to step out of my comfort zone. Dedication to focusing solely on UI for an uninterrupted 1.5 months has not only improved my visual design skills but has also brought me to a point where I thoroughly enjoy the process today
