Hey, I'm Supriya. I'm a product designer who genuinely loves the work. Six years in, across AI, fintech, SaaS, Web3, fraud detection, smart home automation, transportation and mobility, and more, from tiny teams to products used by millions, and I still get the same pull when a hard problem starts to make sense.
I believe that anything, when designed with real care, changes how people experience the world. Not just software. Anything. That's what got me into this and it's what keeps me here.
Human behaviour and mental models are at the centre of how I approach everything. I find that when you start from how people actually think and what they expect rather than what the system needs to do, the right solution tends to surface faster and stick longer. The rest of my approach follows from that: slow the room down enough to ask the questions nobody thought to ask, protect the time it takes to work on the right things, and move fast once the direction is clear. I've spent enough years at the intersection of product, design, business, and tech that I think of those boundaries less as lanes and more as lenses. The best work I've been part of came from using all of them at once. That's the kind of designer I want to keep being.
